Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born into a musical family on the 9th of August, 1963 at Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and the cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. In her early years she performed in the New Hope Baptist Church choir in Newark. By the time she was 15, Houston had sung professionally as a backing vocalist with her mother for Chaka Khan's song from 1978 Im Every Woman. Her mother, Jermaine Lou Rawls and Jermaine the artists she backed up. Her cover in 1981 was featured within Seventeen Magazine. The vocals she sang with the New York-based band Material brought attention to major record labels such as Arista. She signed with Arista in 1983 where she continued to work for the rest of her professional career. In 1985, Whitney Houston's first album was one of the most successful debut albums ever. From the album, she came out with several hits including Saving the Day, All My Love for You How Will You Know That You Give Good Love and The Greatest Love of All. This helped her achieve seven US Top Ones consecutively. She beat even the Beatles. It was the debut US year the album has sold in excess of 3 million copies. It went on to be bought by more than more than 25 million worldwide and earned her the first Grammy. Dana Bash, also known as the name she was born under, Dana Ruth Schwartz, is a CNN anchorwoman and political reporter. Her weekend programs are Evans & Novak Late Edition, Inside Politics and Inside Politics. She has worked for other renowned channels in the past as well, including NBC and CBS. In terms of distinctions and awards Bash was previously included in the Women in Washington Power List' by Elle magazine. Known to possess incredible anchoring/reporting skills she is admired by many young journalists in the business. In private she is a George Washington University grad is an adoring mother to her son who is single. She was married twice, and is now a married. Bash who is a determined and independent woman is a lover of her fans wholeheartedly. This is the reason she is an American journalist keeps herself active in social media sites such as Instagram as well as Twitter where keeps her admirers updated about the events in her life.
